Mariusz Czajkowski

I was born in Poland in 1972 and have lived in Great Britain for most of my adult life. I graduated from the Royal School of Fine Arts in Poland and pursued a career as a full-time artist with a passion for photography. I led painting and photography workshops for beginners, covering a wide range of topics from Aboriginal-inspired painting to night photography. I draw inspiration from the world around me with a particular fondness for the Nordic and Scandinavian countries, having fallen in love with the Northern Lights and their breathtaking landscapes. I enjoyed travelling and photographing all the beautiful places in the world.

I fell ill with ME/CFS in 2022, and my health declined significantly. I could no longer create art in the same ways or with the frequency I once did. Today, I rely on social services to aid with daily activities. I still try to create when my energy allows, even if long periods pass between my works.
