Simon Delebecque

Simon Delebecque (b. 1990) is a French photographer and author. Simon uses photography to express what words can't always capture. In recent years, his focus has shifted from telling the stories of others to capturing the contrasts, silences, and fragility of everyday life with chronic illness. His practice unfolds within a documentary framework, where personal experience becomes a space for visual and emotional inquiry.

Simon is the creator of the photobook Une ombre sur la pellicule, an intimate body of work exploring the lived experience of illness (Long Covid and ME/CFS) through a combined photographic and narrative approach.
